NTA Releases Examination Calendar for December 2026 to March 2027; Check Exam Dates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released its proposed examination calendar for exams scheduled between December 2026 and March 2027. The calendar covers several major entrance and eligibility examinations, including UGC NET, Joint CSIR UGC NET, JEE Main, CMAT, NIFT, CUET-PG and NITTT.
According to the calendar, five examinations are proposed for December 2026. The Rashtriya Indian Military College examination will be held on December 6, followed by SWAYAM from December 8 to 12 and the Rashtriya Military Schools examination on December 13.
The UGC NET December Cycle is proposed from December 14 to 19, with December 20 and 21 kept as buffer dates. The Joint CSIR UGC NET December Cycle is scheduled for December 20 and 21.
In January 2027, the Army Cadets College examination is proposed for January 4, while SHRESHTA (NETS), Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas, is scheduled for January 10. The NIFT Entrance Examination will also be held on January 10.
JEE Main Session 1 is proposed to be conducted on January 22, 24 and 28-30, with January 31 kept as a buffer date. The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination is scheduled for January 31.
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is proposed for February 7, while the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) Part 1 will be conducted on February 26 and 27.
In March, the Common University Entrance Test-Post Graduate (CUET-PG) is proposed to be held on March 1-5, 8, 12-20 and 24-25. The examination will run over 17 days. NITTT Part 2 is scheduled for March 5 and 7.
The NTA has clarified that all dates in the examination calendar are tentative. The schedule may change due to administrative, academic, statutory, logistical or other unforeseen circumstances. Candidates have been advised to keep track of official notifications for updates.
