Pune-Amritsar Daily Direct Flights Launched by Air India Express

Air India Express has announced the launch of its daily service between Pune and Amritsar, bringing Maharashtra’s cultural capital and Punjab’s spiritual hub together.

The inaugural flight took off from Pune on June 15, bringing cheers to students, pilgrims and tourists wanting to travel, not just between these two cities, but also between Maharashtra and Punjab. It will provide direct connectivity to people wanting to visit the Golden Temple and other important historical monuments such as Attari-Wagah border, Jallianwala Bagh etc.

For travellers from Punjab, the new route opens a direct gateway to Pune, a major centre for education, information technology, manufacturing and entrepreneurship. The city is known for landmarks such as Shaniwar Wada, Aga Khan Palace and Sinhagad Fort, and serves as a key commercial destination in western India.

Details of Daily Pune-Amritsar Flight

  • Departure from Pune: 1:20 am
  • Arrival at Amritsar: 4:10 am
  • Departure from Amritsar: 5:00 am
  • Arrival at Pune: 7:50 am

With the addition of Pune-Amritsar-Pune flight, the total number of flights operated by Air India Express has reached 105 with connectivity to 12 destinations including Abu Dhabi.

Passengers traveling on Pune-Amritsar-Pune flight can avail airline’s range of optional services, including Gourmair hot meals, Xpress Ahead priority boarding, and other add-on facilities through the airline’s official website, mobile application and authorized booking platforms.
