The Election Commission of India (ECI) published the draft electoral rolls for all 288 Assembly constituencies in Maharashtra on August 31, 2026, under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) campaign.
Out of 9.78 crore registered voters in the state, around 7.71 crore (78.86%) have been included in the current draft list. Over 2.06 crore voters (21.14%) could not be included, mainly due to unreceived enumeration forms, shifted addresses, missing details, duplicates, or deceased voters.
If you live in Maharashtra, checking your voter status right now is critical to ensure you can vote in upcoming elections. Here are the simple ways you can verify your name in the draft electoral list.

The quickest method to check your voter status requires no internet connection—just your mobile phone.
- Open your SMS app on the phone number registered with your voter ID.
- Type ECI followed by a space and your Voter ID number (EPIC Number).Example: ECI TCM1234567
- Send the message to 1950.
You will instantly get a reply SMS containing your Voter ID number, assembly constituency details, part number, serial number, and status.

What to Do If Your Name Is Missing or Excluded?
If your name is not in the draft roll, it might be in the ASD (Absent, Shifted, Deceased) or Duplicate list, which has been separately uploaded on the CEO Maharashtra website. You can search this list using your EPIC number or download your constituency’s ASD list.
How to Add Your Name to the Final Electoral Roll:
- Online Registration: Eligible voters whose names are missing—or new young voters turning 18 on or before October 1, 2026—can submit Form-6 along with the required declaration form on the Voter Service Portal.
- Offline Submission: You can also collect and submit physical forms to your local Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).
Once your application is verified, your name will be added to the final published electoral roll.
