Watch: A Traffic Jam in Mumbai Nobody Seemed to Mind

Mumbai has been witnessing heavy downpour since June 23. As the city cheers at the arrival of monsoon, albeit delayed, it is not the human Mumbaikars alone who are celebrating!
A traffic jam, for a change, not caused by humans, left morning commuters pleasantly delayed.
Today, on the morning of June 23, Peddar Road in South Mumbai witnessed a traffic hold up for an unusual reason. Some feathered friends and proud natives of Mumbai, were bobbing right in the middle of the road, forcing vehicles to wait for them to cross and clear the road. Though nobody seemed to have minded.
Several peacocks were spotted moving playfully across the road.
The birds, believed to have come down from the lush green groves of Malabar Hill, including areas near Raj Bhavan and Hanging Gardens, turned heads as they navigated the wet streets of one of Mumbai’s upscale neighbourhoods.
