Pune: Central Railway Announces Summer Special Trains to Gorakhpur

In an effort to accommodate the summer rush of passengers, the Central Railway has announced the operation of special trains between Pune and Gorakhpur. The Pune-Gorakhpur-Pune Summer Special Trains are set to run a total of 26 trips, aiming to provide relief to travelers during the peak season.

The service, detailed by Central Railway, will commence with Train No 01431, a superfast weekly special from Pune to Gorakhpur. This train is scheduled to depart every Friday from 5th April 2024 to 28th June 2024, making 13 trips in total. It will leave Pune at 16:15 pm and arrive in Gorakhpur at 21:00 pm the following day.

Conversely, Train No 01432, the Gorakhpur-Pune superfast weekly special, will make its journey every Saturday from 6th April 2024 to 29th June 2024, also totaling 13 trips. Departing from Gorakhpur at 23:25 pm, it will reach Pune on Monday at 6:25 am. These trains will stop at various important stations along the route, including Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, and Lucknow, among others.

The trains are designed to cater to various passenger needs, consisting of 22 ICF Coaches. This includes two AC-3 Tier, sixteen Sleeper Class, and four General Second Class compartments, along with two Luggage cum Guard Brake Van.

Reservations for Train No 01431 will open on 30th March 2024 at all Computerized Reservation Centres and can also be made online at the www.irctc.co.in website. Central Railway urges all passengers to take note of these special services and make their bookings in advance to avail the benefits of these summer special trains.
