Pune: Metro work necessitates traffic diversions at University Chowk
Pune, April 29, 2024: Deputy Commissioner of Traffic, Rohidas Pawar has issued orders for traffic changes at Pune University Chowk to facilitate steel girder and girder casting work on the Pune Metro Line 3 between Hinjawadi and Shivajinagar.
The traffic changes are as follows:
- The road between Pashan, Abhiman Shree chowk and Pune University, which was one way till now, has been made two way.
- Entry from Baner road to Pune University chowk has been closed.
- Drivers coming from Baner, wanting to go to Pune University Chowk, should take a right turn at Abhiman Shree Chowk towards Pashan Road, take a left from the Pashan road to reach University Chowk.
- Drivers wanting to go Aundh road from University Chowk should now take the Aundh Road directly from the University Chowk.
These changes are valid till April 30, 2024 provisionally.
