iPhone 18 Pro Sales Begin in India, Fans Queue Overnight; Pune Store Opens Early on Launch Day
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max went on sale in India on Friday, September 18, drawing buyers to Apple Stores and authorised retailers across the country, with customers in several cities queuing from the early hours to get their hands on the new flagship models.

In Pune, Apple opened its official Koregaon Park store at The KOPA at 8 am on Friday, three hours earlier than its usual 11 am opening time. The store will remain open until 9.30 pm, according to Apple’s official store listing, which marks September 18 under special opening hours.
The Pune outlet, which opened in September 2025, is Apple’s first official retail store in the city. Located at G8-G10, The KOPA in Koregaon Park, the store provides direct retail sales as well as an Apple Pickup facility for customers who place their orders online.
Elsewhere in the country, long queues were reported as sales began. Customers gathered outside Apple Stores and authorised outlets in Bengaluru, Noida and Maharashtra, with some buyers arriving several hours before stores opened.
In Bengaluru, one customer said he had reached the store at around 5 am, while a buyer in Maharashtra said he had waited for around 10 to 12 hours to be the first to receive his phone. Large crowds were also reported outside the Apple Store at DLF Mall in Noida.
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900 in India for the 256GB version, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900. Both models are available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options.

The iPhone 18 Pro is priced at ₹1,89,900 for 512GB, ₹2,39,900 for 1TB and ₹3,14,900 for 2TB. The Pro Max costs ₹2,04,900 for 512GB, ₹2,54,900 for 1TB and ₹3,29,900 for the top-end 2TB model.
The new Pro models are being sold through Apple’s online and physical stores as well as authorised retailers across India. For Pune buyers, the launch is also the first new Pro iPhone sales debut since the city got its own official Apple Store last year.
