Sharad Pawar Hospitalized in Pune After Cough and Chest Pain

NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune on Monday after complaining of chest pain following a bout of cough.

The 85-year-old leader is undergoing medical tests, and his health parameters are stable, his daughter and Baramati MP Supriya Sule said.

In a post on X, Sule confirmed that her father had been admitted to the hospital following a bout of cough. She also said that he was undergoing medical tests and thanked people for their concern and good wishes. (Pune News)

Dr Purvez K Grant, chief cardiologist, chairman and managing trustee of Ruby Hall Clinic, said Pawar’s condition was expected to settle down. He would remain under observation as a precautionary measure, he added. (Pune News)
