Pune: Fire Breaks Out in Pimple Saudagar Flat, Firefighters Rescue Two Girls Trapped Inside
Pune: Two young girls were rescued by firefighters after a fire broke out in a flat at Ganesham Phase 2 Society in Pimple Saudagar on Friday, September 18.
The two girls were trapped inside a room in the flat when the fire broke out. No injuries or casualties were reported.
Initial reports indicated that the fire started following an explosion in a refrigerator inside the flat. The exact cause, however, was yet to be established and an investigation was underway.
Upon received the alert, firefighters reached the spot and entered the affected premises after being informed that two children were trapped inside.
Both girls were brought out safely. Fire brigade personnel then continued work to extinguish the remaining fire.
