Pune: Actor Sangeeta Bijlani’s Farmhouse Vandalised, Valuables Stolen; Police Launch Probe
Pune News, July 19, 2025: A case of theft and vandalism has been reported at Bollywood actor and former Miss India Sangeeta Bijlani’s farmhouse in Pune’s Maval region, police confirmed on Friday. The incident came to light when Bijlani visited her property in Tikona village, near Pawna Dam, after a gap of four months reported PTI.
According to her complaint filed with the Pune Rural Police, the farmhouse was found ransacked, with the main door and window grills forcibly broken. A television set was missing, while another was damaged. Several household items, including beds, a refrigerator, and CCTV cameras, were either stolen or vandalised.
In her application addressed to Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Sandip Singh Gill, Bijlani stated that she had been unable to visit the farmhouse due to her father’s health issues.
“Today, I visited the farmhouse along with two of my maid servants. Upon arrival, I was shocked to discover that the main door had been broken. Upon entering, I found the window grills were damaged, one television set was missing while another was broken,” she stated in her complaint.

She further described that the upper floor was completely ransacked, with all beds broken and numerous household valuables either stolen or destroyed.
Senior Inspector Dinesh Tayde of Lonavala Police Station said a team has been dispatched to assess the damage. “We will register an offence once the assessment of the damage and theft is completed,” he told PTI.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, with further details awaited as the probe progresses.
