A London-based tech brand is making waves in India’s competitive smartphone market, recording a staggering 156% year-on-year growth in Q1 2025, according to Counterpoint Research. This marks the company’s fifth consecutive quarter of growth, cementing its status as the fastest-growing smartphone brand in the country.
The brand in question? Nothing. The announcement came alongside the launch of its latest products—the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the CMF Buds 2 series, which includes the Buds 2, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds 2a. These releases follow the recent debut of the Nothing Phone 3a series in India, further expanding its footprint in the market.
At the launch event, Tarun Pathak, Director at Counterpoint Research, praised the brand’s exceptional performance, crediting its success to strong consumer demand and innovative product offerings.
Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, celebrated the milestone on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Growth compounds. So does belief.” He added, “Thank you to everyone building with us. We’re just getting started.”
With aggressive expansion and a growing product lineup, Nothing is rapidly establishing itself as a key player in India’s tech industry.
