The eagle’s leg had become entangled in a wire and rope on the nearly 110-foot-high tower, leaving it unable to fly. Villagers spotted the bird and informed the fire brigade.

A team led by Assistant Fire Officer Radhey Shyam Dubey reached the village after receiving the information. Firefighter Ashwani Kumar, wearing safety equipment, climbed the tower and carefully cut the wire and rope to free the bird.

The eagle flew away as soon as its leg was freed. Villagers expressed relief after seeing the bird safely return to the open sky.

Dubey said the team was informed that the eagle had been stuck on the tower for around 12 days. Its leg was caught in the wire and rope, preventing it from flying.
