Pune Municipal Corporation has notified that there will be a complete water supply shutdown in many areas on Thursday, September 10, due to the requirement of urgent electrical, pumping and civil maintenance works at several pumping stations.
PMC stated that starting from midnight of September 9 to midnight of September 10, there will be complete water supply shutdown for areas supplied through Parvati pumping station and a few more.
Areas that are supplied from Stage 2 Parvati HLR Zone, Bhama Askhed Jackwell and Warje Water Center will be affected.
Water supply to the areas supplied by following pumping stations will be affected:
SNDT HLR, Chandni Chowk Tank, Gandhi Bhavan Tank, Pancard Club GSR Tank, GSR Tank near Warje Water Center, Pashan and Sus Tanks, Chaturshringi Tank, Old Warje Water Center, New and Old Holkar Water Centers, Kondhawa Dhawde Water Center and Vadgaon Water Center.
PMC has requested residents to note the water supply disruption schedule and store water adequately.
On Friday, September 11, water supply may resume at low pressure.
