Pimpri Chinchwad Police to Hold First-Ever Virtual Townhall

Pune, July 21, 2026: Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate will host a first-of-its-kind Virtual Townhall hosted directly on X via @PCcityPolice.

Led by Police Commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey IPS, the live digital session aims to establish a collaborative roadmap to build a drug-free city.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

The virtual platform will bring together more than 500 key stakeholders, including representatives from 115 housing societies, 115 educational institutions, 115 Police Mitra and volunteer groups, 69 industries and businesses, 46 religious and festival organizations, as well as citizen groups, NGOs, and medical professionals.

Ahead of the event, local law enforcement is encouraging residents, community leaders, and business owners to actively participate by sharing questions, proposals, and feedback on social media using the official hashtag #DrugFreePimpriChinchwad.

With increasing focus on protecting youth and safeguarding educational and industrial corridors from illegal drug networks, police officials stress that direct community partnership is key to creating lasting solutions across Pimpri Chinchwad.
