Air India Group Partners with Navi Mumbai International Airport for 20 Daily Flights in Phase 1
Air India Group has announced a major partnership with Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), marking a new era of connectivity for Mumbai’s twin-airport strategy. This collaboration aims to position NMIA as a global hub for smarter and seamless travel.
In Phase 1, the airline group will launch over 20 daily flights, connecting 15 Indian cities directly from Navi Mumbai. By mid-2026, the network is expected to expand to 55 daily flights, including five international routes. The target is to operate 60 daily flights by Winter 2026, further boosting Mumbai’s role as an international aviation gateway.
Adani Group, which is developing NMIA, highlighted that this partnership will make travel easier for passengers across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region while decongesting the existing Mumbai airport. Air India’s presence at NMIA is expected to provide greater convenience, faster connections, and an enhanced flying experience for domestic and international travelers alike.
