Pune’s Blue Ridge Hinjawadi Couple Creates ‘Ma Durga Rangoli’ Masterpiece in 12 Days
PUNE: A couple from Blue Ridge Township in Hinjawadi has created a rangoli masterpiece that is winning hearts across the community this festive season. Akash and Roojuta Bokade dedicated 12 days, working 8 to 9 hours daily, to complete an intricate depiction of Goddess Durga on the occasion of Durga Ashtami.
The artwork, titled “Ma Durga Rangoli,” reflects both devotion and patience. Every detail was carefully crafted, with Roojuta leading the artistic design and Akash assisting in the elaborate process. The final result has turned their home into a popular spot, as residents of the township have been visiting in large numbers to admire the creation.

Speaking about the effort, Akash Bokade shared, “This rangoli is our way of celebrating Durga Ashtami with devotion and creativity. Roojuta took the lead in drawing it, and we worked long hours every day to make it perfect. The love and appreciation from our neighbors makes the effort worthwhile.”
The rangoli stands not only as an artistic accomplishment but also as a symbol of community celebration. For Blue Ridge residents, it has become one of the highlights of the Durga Ashtami festivities this year.
