According to IMD data, the city witnessed minimum temperature of 17°C, while the maximum temperature continued above3 30°C on November 07, 2026.

As per the IMD forecast, a further drop in nighttime temperature is expected in the coming few days with the minimum temperature expected to drop down to 15°C. (Pune News)

Coupled with slight breeze to light wind, the chill in the air will be felt more, especially outdoors during evening time.

Weather experts are attributing this drop in temperature to depletion of moisture in the atmosphere and northeasterly winds bring cold fronts to the city.

The maximum temperature, however, will continue to be in the range of 33-35°C causing wide gap between the minimum and maximum temperature.

High variation in the maximum and minimum temperature, alongwith dropping air quality is a cause for concern.

Residents are advised to take adequate precaution to prevent seasonal allergies and respiratory problems from dampening the festive spirit.

Overall, across Maharashtra, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.0°C in Gondia and maximum at 36.6°C in Mumbai on November 07, 2026. (Pune News)
