Pimpri Chinchwad police bust a Rs. 4 crore online share trading scam with international links, arresting 7 and seizing cash.
In a major crackdown on online share trading scams, the Cyber Team of Pimpri Chinchwad Police has successfully dismantled a widespread racket with international connections.
This significant operation has led to the arrest of seven individuals and the seizure of Rs. 7 lakh in cash. The estimated value of the scam is a staggering Rs. 4 crore.
Authorities have also identified and traced 120 ‘Mule Accounts,’ which have been implicated in over 75 different cybercrime incidents involving transactions worth crores. The police are continuing their investigation, and more updates are expected as the case develops further.
