Pune: Over 1,000 Patients Receive AYUSH Treatments at Aundh District Hospital
Pune district hospital at Aundh provided Ayush treatment to over 1100 patients.
In an encouraging initiative for alternative medicine, the Aundh District Hospital in Pune has administered treatments under the AYUSH protocol to nearly 1,100 patients over the past one and a half months. AYUSH, an acronym for Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa Rigpa, and Homoeopathy, is recognized for its holistic approach to health care.
The treatments were provided through the hospital’s outpatient department, catering to a large number of patients seeking non-conventional medical solutions. The therapies and prescriptions offered are part of an integrated system aimed at promoting wellness and natural healing processes.
Looking ahead, the hospital is preparing to expand its AYUSH services. Plans are underway to include Kshar Sutra Treatment, a specialized therapy in Ayurveda, and additional naturopathic treatments. This initiative is expected to further enhance the range of holistic health services available to the community, solidifying the hospital’s role as a center for comprehensive alternative healthcare solutions.
