Autorickshaw drivers make a living by opportunities provided by the cities’ transportation requirements. Consequently, they are duty bound to serve the passengers and should not choose between more profitable and less profitable trips.

However such drives should be conducted in every city of Maharashtra, and not just Mumbai, from time to time to keep a check on the autorickshaw drivers’ high handedness.
