Banks will remain closed for 12 days in June. These holidays will be applicable across the country. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of days in June when banks will remain closed, according to its recent circular. There will be a total of 12 bank holidays in June, as per the RBI’s calendar. These holidays may vary based on the state and festival. The RBI issues the list of bank holidays based on three factors and is dependent on the celebrations held across the country and within the states.

Complete List of Bank Holidays in June 2023:

  1. June 4, 2023: Sunday (Weekly off)
  2. June 10, 2023: Second Saturday
  3. June 11, 2023: Sunday (Weekly off)
  4. June 15, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Mizoram and Odisha on account of Raja Sankranti.
  5. June 18, 2023: Sunday (Weekly off)
  6. June 20, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Odisha due to Rath Yatra.
  7. June 24, 2023: Fourth Saturday
  8. June 25, 2023: Sunday (Weekly off)
  9. June 26, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Tripura due to Kharchi Puja.
  10. June 28, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Kerala, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir on account of Eid ul Ajha.
  11. June 29, 2023: Banks will remain closed in other states due to Eid ul Ajha.
  12. June 30, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Mizoram, Odisha on account of Rema Eid ul Ajha.

The holidays mentioned above will be applicable according to the holidays declared by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Even though the banks remain closed on these days, account holders can use net banking and mobile banking for their banking needs.
