Pune Municipal Corporation Demolishes 21,800 Sq Ft of Unauthorized Constructions in Peth Areas
PUNE: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has intensified its drive against unauthorized constructions, demolishing illegal RCC structures spread across around 21,800 sq ft in the Pune Peth and Khadki Peth areas.
The demolition was carried out as part of the civic body’s ongoing campaign to remove unauthorized constructions across the city. PMC officials said the action was taken in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations.
The civic body has also urged citizens to exercise caution before purchasing any land or plot. Buyers have been advised to verify that the property has received the necessary construction permissions and development approvals before completing any transaction.
PMC has made it clear that no unauthorized construction will be tolerated within city limits. Officials said strict action against violations will continue in the coming days as part of the corporation’s enforcement drive.
