PMC Announces One-Day Water Supply Shutdown in Several Parts of Pune on July 30
Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a full-day water supply shutdown in several parts of the city on Thursday, July 30, 2026, due to urgent electrical and mechanical maintenance work at the Lashkar Water Purification Centre and pumping station.
According to the corporation, water supply from the affected pumping stations will remain suspended throughout the day to facilitate essential repair and maintenance works.

Yerawada Gaothan, Irani Market, Gaadital, Gunjan, Salve Bhaji Market, Gawliwada, Jijamata Nagar, Madar Teresa Nagar, Kumar Purnakuti, Laman Tanda, Kamaraj Nagar, Nila Benda, Laxmi Nagar, Bhatnagar, Old Masjid area, Netaji Nagar, Gandhinagar, Kashmir Colony, Bhim Shankar Vasahat, Yashwant Nagar, Khuda Bhopdi, Jajwala Mandal, Gajaraj Club, Dr. Ambedkar Vasatigruh, Subhash Nagar, Navi Khadki, Talimi Paryant, Barate Vasti, Bosale Vasti, Kumar Angan, Sangamwadi, Jai Jawan Nagar, Ramnagar, Y.P. PMC has also informed citizens that water supply on Friday, July 31, may be restored late in the morning and could be available at low pressure in the affected areas. Residents have been requested to store water in advance and use it judiciously.
The civic body has appealed to citizens to cooperate by planning their water usage.
