Pune: PMRDA Conducts Important Meeting to Expedite Water Supply Schemes for Hinjawadi IT Park
Pune, June 18, 2026: An important meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary, Commissioner, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), to expedite water supply schemes for villages including Maan, Mhalunge, Marunji, Hinjawadi, and others within the jurisdiction of PMRDA.
The meeting was attended by Bhor-Rajgad-Mulshi MLA Shankar Mandekar, along with District Collector of Pune Jitendra Dudi, Chief Executive Officer of Pune Zilla Parishad Gajanan Patil, and senior officials from Krishna Valley Development Corporation, Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, MIDC, and PMRDA.
The availability of water and the implementation of various water supply schemes to ensure adequate, quality, and uninterrupted water supply to the villages of Maan, Mhalunge, Marunji, Hinjawadi, and surrounding areas within the PMRDA jurisdiction were discussed.
Additionally, detailed discussions were held on enhancing coordination among relevant departments to accelerate pending works. The meeting emphasized necessary measures to provide citizens with a more efficient and sustainable water supply system.
