Pune Excise Department Seizes Illicit Liquor, Vehicle and Assets Worth Over Rs. 1.35 Crore

Illegal Liquor, a vehicle and other materials collectively amounting to Rs. 1.35 crore were seized by the Pune Excise Department on June 11 during a raid.

State Excide Superintendent, Atul Kanade said that the operation was conducted across three raids in which liquor worth Rs. 1.2 crore and a vehicle, all together amounting to Rs. 1.35 crore were seized. The exact value of the seized property is Rs. 1,35,999,000.

A large number of liquor cartons were recovered by the employees of the excise department during the raids. Investigation is going to to identify all the people involved in the illicit liquor business.
