Pune to Face a Full-Day Water Cut on November 20 With Low-Pressure Supply Next Day
Pune will face a full-day water cut on November 20 as the Water Supply Department connects a major new pipeline between Khadakwasla Dam and the Parvati Water Treatment Plant. Supply will resume on November 21, but residents should be ready for low pressure.
The civic body has finished laying a 3,000 mm main pipeline from Khadakwasla to Parvati. On Thursday, engineers will connect two 1,400 mm pipelines to this line and install new flow meters. To carry out this work safely, water supply to large parts of the city will stay shut for the entire day.
Supply from the Bhama–Askhed Dam to the Nagar Road belt will continue without any interruption.
