Weather Update: Dry Spell Begins from November 5, Night Temperatures to Drop

According to the latest forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and IMD-GFS, Pune is set to experience rain-free weather starting November 5. A brief spell of thunderstorm activity with lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds (30–40 kmph) is expected in isolated areas of the city on November 5.

From November 6 onwards, the weather is expected to turn dry, bringing an end to the recent rain phase. Residents can look forward to clearer skies and cooler nights as the minimum temperature is likely to dip from November 6–7.

The IMD has also predicted that similar dry conditions will prevail across other parts of Maharashtra from November 6. As a result, most regions in the state will experience a noticeable drop in night temperatures, marking the transition towards early winter.
