Rain and Thunderstorms in Pune Today and Tomorrow, Light Rain in Rest of Maharashtra
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Pune, warning of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30–40 kmph at isolated places today and tomorrow.
Similar weather conditions are expected in the ghat regions of Pune, Satara, and Nashik, where the intensity of rain and winds may be slightly higher due to elevation and local weather activity.
Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra are also likely to experience light rain during this period. The IMD has advised residents to stay cautious, avoid open areas during thunderstorms, and secure loose outdoor items against gusty winds.
