The video, shared by Instagram user Ganesh Shinde, offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the intricate structure. It soars above the flyover, beautifully capturing its vast scale and complex layout, giving viewers a fresh perspective on a piece of infrastructure they might drive on every day.

This isn’t just a pretty picture; it was built as a major solution to a long-standing problem. The flyover was officially opened to the public in August 2023 by Union Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari. A significant project undertaken by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), it came with a price tag of approximately ₹865 crore, funded with help from the Pune Municipal Corporation and the state government.
The goal was clear: to untangle the notorious traffic snarls at Chandni Chowk and improve connectivity across the city. The massive 16.98 km long structure does just that, featuring four bridges and two underpasses. It seamlessly links critical areas including Bavdhan, the National Defence Academy, Pashan, Mulshi Road, Paud Road, and the Mumbai-Bengaluru bypass.
While the flyover has been easing commutes for nearly two years now, this dazzling drone footage allows everyone, from daily users to urban planning enthusiasts, to truly appreciate the design and magnitude of this project.
