Massive Fire in Flat at Dattani Tower in Borivali, No Injuries Reported

A massive fire broke out at a 12-storey residential building in Borivali West, Mumbai, on Friday afternoon, creating panic among residents but causing no casualties.
The blaze erupted around 2:18 pm at Dattani Tower, located on Kora Kendra Road. According to officials, the fire started in a flat on the seventh floor and quickly spread to parts of the eighth. Flames and thick smoke were seen coming out of the building, with videos of the incident circulating on social media.
The Mumbai Fire Brigade rushed to the spot along with local rescue teams and began evacuation. The fire was largely confined to household items, electric wiring, wooden furniture, and an air-conditioning unit in a 1,200 sq. ft. apartment.
Thick smoke billowing from the affected floors caused panic, but fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported. Firefighting operations are underway, and the exact cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
