Pune: Low Water Pressure in Several Areas on July 31 Due to Pump Shutdown at Vadgaon Water Centre
Pune, July 30, 2025 – The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a scheduled partial shutdown of the pumping system at the Vadgaon Water Centre on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The shutdown is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance work by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
Due to this two-hour disruption, water supply to several areas under the jurisdiction of the Vadgaon pumping system and Rajiv Gandhi pumping station will be available at low pressure during and shortly after the maintenance period.
