Indian Army Launches Operation Sindoor, Destroys Terrorist Launchpads Near LoC
In a decisive counter-response to Pakistan’s attempted drone strikes on the night of May 8 and 9, 2025, in multiple cities across Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab, the Indian Army executed a powerful retaliatory mission dubbed Operation Sindoor. The operation involved a coordinated fire assault that successfully pulverized terrorist launchpads located near the Line of Control (LoC).
According to a statement released by ADG PI – Indian Army, the launchpads targeted were known hubs for orchestrating and executing terror activities against Indian civilians and security forces.
