Bengaluru, May 9, 2025: Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (BLR Airport) has issued a passenger advisory in response to a nationwide heightened security alert. Travelers using the airport are urged to arrive at least three hours prior to their scheduled departure to ensure adequate time for check-in, enhanced security screening, and boarding.

The advisory was shared by BLR Airport earlier today and highlights the implementation of enhanced screening measures across all airports in India. These precautions are part of a broader effort to maintain passenger safety amid the increased alert status amidsts the ongoing military conflict with Pakistan.

“Passengers travelling through BLR Airport are advised to arrive at least three hours prior to departure in light of heightened security measures. Please check with your airline for latest updates. Your cooperation is highly appreciated,” stated the official post from @BLRAirport.
