Pune: Massive Fire Broke Out at Shivar Chowk, Pimple Saudagar Early Morning
Pimple Saudagar, 27 January 2025: A massive fire broke out late last night, between 1:30 AM and 2:00 AM, at Shivar Chowk in Pimple Saudagar, causing panic among residents and business owners. The incident occurred at Adi’s Fashion Market near Pradeep Sweets, beside Shivar Garden Restaurant.
According to initial reports, the fire is believed to have started inside the building, with a suspected short circuit being the likely cause. Firefighters rushed to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control after hours of effort, successfully preventing it from spreading to nearby structures.
Fire Officer Gautam Ingawale stated, “no injuries or fatalities occurred despite the severity of the fire. Being a commercial complex, we managed to douse the fire within 15 minutes, though cooling operations took additional time. The property damage was significant, but we successfully prevented the fire from spreading to other parts of the building.”
