Visuals from Operation Sindoor: Indian Army Foils Another Early Morning Drone Attack in Amritsar

Amritsar, May 10: In a bold and swift response to yet another provocation by Pakistan, the Indian Army successfully neutralized multiple hostile drones spotted over Khasa Cantt, Amritsar, early this morning. The incident occurred at around 5 AM and forms part of a larger pattern of escalating cross-border threats, including drone strikes and other munitions along India’s western frontier.

The Additional Directorate General of Public Information, IHQ of MoD (Army), confirmed that the enemy drones were immediately intercepted and destroyed by Indian air defence units. This precision response falls under the ongoing Operation Sindoor, a countermeasure framework to thwart such threats to Indian airspace and civilian safety.

“Pakistan’s blatant attempt to violate India’s sovereignty and endanger civilians is unacceptable,” stated the Indian Army. “#IndianArmy will thwart enemy designs.”

The Army reiterated its commitment to national security and warned against continued violations of India’s airspace. With the western borders becoming increasingly volatile, the military remains on high alert to prevent any incursion that risks national integrity or civilian safety.
This latest action under Operation Sindoor is seen as a strong message to Pakistan, reinforcing India’s zero-tolerance stance toward territorial violations and drone warfare.
