Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal, who represents the area, said the project was a long-standing promise to residents. She added that the flyover, connecting Vitthalwadi to Funtime Theatre and Shiwa Kashid Chowk to Prakash Inamdar Chowk, will ease the traffic burden on Sinhagad Road.

The double-decker flyover is designed to give commuters uninterrupted passage across nine major intersections. People traveling from Dhayri, Nanded City, Vadgaon Budruk, Khadakwasla, and Narhe, as well as those heading towards the Mumbai–Bengaluru highway, are expected to benefit the most. Authorities estimate that motorists will save 15 to 25 minutes on their daily trips once the bridge is operational.

For residents who have faced long traffic snarls on this busy corridor, the new structure promises a smoother and quicker commute.
