The initiative, aimed at assisting applicants whose passport applications are stalled due to verification hurdles, will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Passport Bhavan in Baner.

Focus on PVR Grievances

Police verification remains one of the most critical stages in the passport application lifecycle. Delays or objections during this phase often leave applicants in limbo. Recognizing this, senior officials from both the RPO Pune and the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Pune, will be present to provide on-the-spot assistance and clarity on pending cases.

Event Details and Schedule

Applicants are not required to book a prior appointment and can attend the session on a walk-in basis.

  • Date: March 4, 2026 (Wednesday)
  • Registration Time: 2:00 PM onwards
  • Session Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Venue: Regional Passport Office, Passport Bhavan, Sr. No. 5/2/2, Baner-Pashan Link Road, Baner, Pune.

What Applicants Should Carry

To ensure a quick resolution, the RPO has advised attendees to come prepared with the following:

  1. The objection letter (if received).
  2. All relevant supporting documents related to their application and address proof.

This coordinated effort between the RPO and Pune Police is expected to provide much-needed relief to hundreds of applicants facing technical or administrative blocks in their verification process.
