RPO Pune to Host Special Open House on March 4 to Resolve Police Verification Delays
Pune, February 27, 2026: In a significant move to streamline the passport issuance process, the Regional Passport Office (RPO) Pune, in collaboration with the Pune City Police, has announced a special “Open House” to address grievances specifically related to Police Verification Reports (PVR).

Police verification remains one of the most critical stages in the passport application lifecycle. Delays or objections during this phase often leave applicants in limbo. Recognizing this, senior officials from both the RPO Pune and the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Pune, will be present to provide on-the-spot assistance and clarity on pending cases.
