Pune: Water Supply to Be Disrupted in Multiple Areas for Temple Maintenance Work
 
                Pune News, July 02, 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a temporary water supply shutdown in several parts of the city to facilitate urgent architectural maintenance and repair work at the Agam Mandir Paytha. The water supply will remain suspended for the entire day on Thursday, July 3, 2025, while low-pressure or delayed supply may continue into Friday, July 4, 2025.
Affected Areas
Residents of the following localities should prepare for water disruption:
- Dattanagar, Telco Colony
- Amarai Ambegaon Budruk and surrounding areas
- Dalvi Nagar, Waghjai Nagar
- Achal Farm area, Pancham Nagar
- Vadar Vasti & nearby zones
- Santosh Nagar, Anjali Nagar
- Mahavir Kunj, Wonder City
- Section Society premises, Gurudwara complex
- Ambegaon Khurd Gavthan, Jambhulwadi Road
Advisory for Citizens
The PMC’s Water Supply Department has urged citizens to store sufficient water in advance and cooperate during the maintenance period. Officials have also cautioned that supply may resume at lower pressure or later than usual on Friday.
