Pune: Water Release Notice from Mulshi Dam into Mula River
Pune, July 24, 2025: Authorities have notified about water release from Mulshi dam at 2 pm today.
Due to heavy rains in ghat areas around Pune and particularly in the catchment area of Mulshi dam, water release from the dam has been necessitated.
The district administration has informed that Mulshi Dam has reached 79.74 percent water storage, as a result, water release will commence from 2 PM today.
A discharge of 2,500 cusecs will be released into the Mula River through the dam’s spillway. The discharge may be increased or decreased depending on the situation.
