Pune: Two Arrested Within 24 Hours for Snatching Businessman’s Bag Containing ₹9.35 Lakh in Ambegaon
Pune News, July 17, 2025: The Pune Police swiftly acted upon a complaint filed by a businessman who was robbed of a bag containing a substantial amount of cash while he was traveling in Ambegaon. According to officials, two suspects in a four-wheeler intercepted the victim and snatched the bag filled with money.
In a commendable operation, the police arrested the accused within 24 hours from Bhugaon. During the arrest, authorities seized crucial evidence, including five mobile phones, ₹9.35 lakh in cash, and a vehicle used in the crime.
The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations to determine if the accused are involved in similar crimes. The quick response by the Pune Police has been lauded, ensuring the recovery of the stolen amount and preventing further criminal activities.
