Pune, June 05, 2025: In a decisive move against unauthorized constructions, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) demolished an illegal six-story building in Survey No. 45/1/2, Marunji, on Thursday. This action marks another significant step in PMRDA’s ongoing campaign to eliminate illegal hoardings and unauthorized constructions across the region.

The demolition was carried out under the directives of Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase and supervised by key officials including Additional Commissioner Deepak Singla, Police Superintendent and Vigilance Officer Amol Tambe, Deputy District Collector Dr. Deepti Suryavanshi-Patil, and Pramod Kudale.

PMRDA has issued a stern warning—no construction will be tolerated without proper permits. Authorities have urged citizens to comply with legal regulations and support sustainable, planned development for the region.
