The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued an urgent advisory cautioning citizens against fraudulent messages circulating regarding water supply disconnections. According to officials, some residents received misleading messages claiming that their water connections would be severed due to unpaid meter bills. The PMC clarified that these messages were not sent by its Water Supply Department and are part of a scam targeting unsuspecting individuals.
