Pune: PMC Announces 43rd Annual Fruit, Flower, and Vegetable Competition with Tree Conservation Contest
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is set to host the 43rd Fruit, Flower, and Vegetable Competition and Exhibition 2025, along with a Tree Conservation Competition, under its Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. The event, organized by PMC’s Garden and Tree Authority Department, aims to promote greenery and environmental conservation.
Event Details:
- Exhibition Dates: February 6 to February 13, 2025
- Application Deadline: February 5, 2025
- Venues:
- Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan Ground – showcasing 100 different tree species
- Government Garden Nurseries & Conservatories – displaying another 100 tree varieties
The event will feature competitive exhibitions of fruits, flowers, and vegetables, along with tree conservation initiatives to encourage sustainable urban greening.
