Pune Metro to Run Non-Stop Services for 41 Hours During Anant Chaturdashi
Pune Metro has announced special round-the-clock services for Anant Chaturdashi to help commuters travel smoothly during the Ganesh visarjan processions.
The Metro will operate continuously from 6:00 AM on Saturday, 6th September 2025, until 11:00 PM on Sunday, 7th September 2025. This extended schedule is aimed at managing the heavy rush expected over the weekend.

During this extended operation, a total of 1,390 metro trips will be conducted on the Vanaz–Ramwadi and Pimpri Chinchwad–Swargate routes. Trains will run at a minimum frequency of three minutes on the Pimpri Chinchwad–Swargate route, officials said.
Authorities have also urged citizens to travel safely and follow all rules and guidelines while using the Metro. With lakhs of devotees expected to take part in Ganesh idol immersions across the city, the move is expected to ease traffic congestion and provide a safer, faster travel option.
