Pune Metro Partners with Switch E-Ride for E-Scooter Service, Offers Free Newspapers at 5 Stations
In order to enhance urban mobility, Pune Metro has joined hands with Switch E-Ride to introduce an app-based E-Scooter service at Metro stations. This initiative aims to improve first and last-mile connectivity, offering commuters a convenient, affordable, and eco-friendly transport option. The collaboration is a step towards making Pune a smarter and greener city.

Additionally, Pune Metro has partnered with leading media houses Sakal, Dainik Bhaskar, and The Times Group to provide free newspaper services for passengers. This facility is available at five key stations: District Court (elevated and underground), PCMC, Vanaz, Ramwadi, and Swargate. Passengers can take these newspapers along for reading, promoting a culture of staying informed and encouraging reading habits.

This dual initiative not only enhances the commuting experience but also aligns with Pune Metro’s vision of sustainable and inclusive urban development.
