Pune: Massive Job Fair Namo Rojgar Melava Scheduled for March 2nd to Fill Over 43,000 Positions

Pune Division is set to host a significant employment event, the Namo Rojgar Melava, on March 2nd and 3rd, aiming to fill 43,613 vacant posts. Baramati’s Sub-Divisional Officer Vaibhav Navadkar and Tehsildar Ganesh Shinde announced this ambitious initiative during a press conference. The job fair will see the participation of 311 entrepreneurs and is organized with the intention of offering immediate employment opportunities, with companies providing on-the-spot appointment letters following interviews.

The event will be inaugurated at the Vidya Pratishthan complex at 11 am on March 2nd, in the esteemed presence of Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar. It aims to attract youths from Pune, Satara, Solapur, Ahmednagar, and Sangli areas, offering a two-day platform for potential employment.

To ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for the attendees, the state government will provide complimentary tea, food, and breakfast. The organizers, including senior officers like Superintendent of Police Pankaj Deshmukh and Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Jadhav, have reviewed the preparations to ensure a smooth experience for the job seekers.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has taken a keen interest in the fair, issuing directives for its flawless execution in Baramati. So far, over 14,000 youths have registered for the event, with provisions made for on-site registration to accommodate those who have not registered online.

The fair is not just about job opportunities; it will also feature a seminar on career guidance. Experts will provide valuable advice on career paths post-graduation, catering to graduates from various fields. This holistic approach aims to empower the youth with not only job opportunities but also the knowledge to make informed career decisions.
