Pune: Major Train Disruptions on July 13 as 26 Locals Cancelled, Khadki Station Halts Suspended for Platform Upgrade
Pune, July 12, 2025 – The Central Railway’s Pune Division has announced significant disruptions in train services on Sunday, July 13, due to Non-Interlocking (NI) works at Khadki station for the construction of a new platform on the UP side for RBPC/EMU trains. The upgrade will affect both suburban and express services between Pune and Lonavala, with 26 local trains cancelled and multiple long-distance trains rescheduled.
Key Disruptions & Schedule Changes
The NI works will be carried out from 12:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 5-hour traffic block from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Suburban Train Cancellations
A total of 26 suburban trains (13 UP & 13 Down) between Pune and Lonavala/Pune-Talegaon will remain cancelled. Key affected services include:
- Pune–Lonavala locals: 99802, 99804, 99806, 99814, 99818, 99820
- Lonavala–Pune locals: 99801, 99803, 99807, 99811, 99813, 99815, 99817, 99819, 99829
Express Train Delays & Rescheduling
Several express trains will face delays:
- CSMT–MAS Express (22159): Delayed by 1 hour
- Pune–CSMT Express (11008): Delayed by 1.5 hours
- LTT–COA Express (17222): Delayed by 30 minutes
- CSMT–TVC Express (16331): Delayed by 2 hours
- DD–INDB Express (22943): Delayed by 1.5 hours
Short Termination & Origination
- 11030 KOP–CSMT Express will terminate at Pune on July 12.
- 11029 CSMT–KOP Express will short originate from Pune on July 13, with cancellation between CSMT and Pune.
No Halts at Khadki Station
All suburban and express trains will skip halts at Khadki station during the block period. Passengers are advised to use alternative stations for boarding and deboarding.
Freight Train Impact
Around 17–18 goods trains are expected to be affected due to the NI works.
