Pune International Airport’s New Terminal Completes One Year with 1.06 Crore Passengers and 70,000 Flights
Pune, India – The new terminal of Pune International Airport has completed its first successful year of operations, marking a significant milestone in the city’s aviation growth. Over the past year, the terminal has facilitated more than 70,000 flights, serving a staggering 1.06 crore passengers.
The development of the new terminal was prioritized by the Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Pune Lok Sabha MP Murlidhar Mohol immediately after assuming office. Alongside its launch, several state-of-the-art facilities were introduced, including DigiYatra (a digital travel initiative), Udan Café, health centers, and premium lounges, enhancing passenger convenience. Additionally, efforts have been accelerated to operationalize the airport’s older terminal soon, further boosting capacity.
The introduction of these modern amenities has led to a substantial increase in passenger traffic, reflecting high satisfaction among travelers.
