Pune: Fire Breaks Out in Shop at Shahunagar, Chinchwad; No Casualties Reported
Pune: A fire broke out at a shop located in Shahunagar, Chinchwad, prompting a swift response from the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Fire Department. The incident was reported to the fire brigade on Thursday, following which a fire tender from the Chikhali Fire Station was immediately dispatched to the scene.
According to officials, upon receiving the alert, the rescue team quickly reached the spot and initiated firefighting operations. The fire brigade team conducted an inspection of the site and successfully brought the fire under control, preventing it from spreading further.
While the shop’s contents were completely gutted in the blaze, no injuries or loss of life were reported in the incident, much to the relief of local residents and authorities. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
