Pune News, June 30, 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has declared an urgent water supply shutdown for over 30 key areas, including Chandni Chowk, Bavdhan, Baner, and Pashan, after a major leakage was detected in the primary water pipeline from the Warje Water Purification Centre to the Chandni Chowk Tank.

Immediate Repair Work Underway

PMC officials confirmed that emergency repairs have begun, forcing a complete halt in water supply to the affected zones on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Residents can expect a delayed and low-pressure water supply once services resume later in the morning.

✔ Pashan Storage Tank, Bhugaon Road, Kokate Vasahat
✔ Sentin Hill Society, Madhuban Society, Bavdhan (full area)
✔ Right & Left Bhusari Colony, Chintamani Society
✔ Guruganesh Nagar, Suraj Nagar, Sagar Colony, Bharati Nagar
✔ Sarathi Shilp Society, Pooja Park, Shantiban Society
✔ Dukkarkhindi vicinity, Shastri Nagar, View Laxmi Nagar
✔ Paramhans Nagar, Baner, Balewadi, Pashan, Someshwarwadi

PMC’s Appeal to Residents

The civic body has urged citizens to:
